Mom used to make these long, long ago. And they're easy. Why do I wait so long between batches?
Risen dough ready to punch down.
First side on the griddle cooking and browing.
Flipped over. Second side cooks.
English Muffins for breakfast!
With jam, anyone?
How I wish you guys were here! I'd LOVE to share these with you.

...And I would certainly love to sample one, Cherie! Like I said over at your other blog, I'm wowed!
Um....If I had a car I think I would happen to be in the neighborhood this morning....
I'm drooling.
I'm too lazy to make the muffins, but I do bake a mean english muffin loaf! ;)
tshsmom: can you send me that recipe?
WC: Thanks!
ME: I think I left a comment on my other blog to you about zinging the muffins over to you Frisbee style! How fun would that be?! Just open a window. I think I can see your toaster from here....
Summer: I was drooling while they were cooking - nothing like baking bread to salivate the mouth, eh.
Tshs: Oh yes!! English muffin bread! That's what my mom went to baking when the muffins became too big chore for her and, well, Dad ate them up too fast. The bread is really really easy, too, with very satisfying results!! Makes impressive gifts. My recipe is in my More with Less Cookbook. I, too, would be eager to see your recipe. If you send it to WC would you send it to me, too? Thanks!
Coming right over. MAN those look excellent.
BJ: I'll be waiting!!
My recipe for English Muffin isn't in the More With Less cookbook as I thought. Just FYI. :D
