Natural Relief

Three pressure-filled days.

Mental tensions press.

Their physical manifestations settle in my neck and shoulder.

A warning.

Slow down.

Relax.

Breathe.

Take a pill?

No, a hot soak.

The ritual begins once the kids are asleep. Fill the tub.

Turn on the jets. Soothing bubbles!

Out go the lights, lit are the candles.

An hour later, relief.

A good night's sleep.

Fresh perspective this morning.

Mmmmm, looks delicious. Also a ritual that would be well taken for a lot of us. I did that the other night, sans bubbles - I even have a portable whirlpooler thing - your post reminds me I should get it out.....

soak and breathe - soak and breathe

Yes, yes I did. And the soaky times were so great I think I might indulge again tonight in preparation for this weekend's work work work.

And than after I work and become sore.....well, you can figure it out.

I'm crazy!

One of my favorite things is a hot bath by candlelight. Melts the cares away. I like that you chose it over pills. There are natural alternatives to many of life's ailments. Thanks for pointing this one out Cherie.
